The increase will continue with 15 mg three times per day for the next three days, and finally baclofen 20 mg pills three times per day from then forward. Test doses are done first to see how the patient will react. 300-800 mcg per day is the usual range for this condition, although doses can be as low as 12 mcg per day and as high as 1500.
To avoid the risk of baclofen overdose, always take the medication as directed. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If you are close to your next dose, skip it. Never double up on a dose to try and catch up from a missed dose. A dangerous overdose could result.
